No Longer Available In White!!

I bought the white version of this same model back on 9/28/15 and at the end of December 2019 this turntable rotates when you open the door. There is a switch that would have to be replaced (but consumers should not be fixing a microwaves). I'd buy this same model again if it was available in white, as it is a very attractive unit and works well. Frigidaire should drop the smaller 0.7 cubic foot white model and offer this unit in white again.

Bad Features as produced.

my wife and I bought this size microwave in black stainless steel finish because we own a frigidaire electric stove, great product. At home we discovered that unit has three continous loud beeps, which product engineering barely addressed with a turn off function. Product engineering missed the fact that this microwave needs softer beep and fewer beeps when food is done. And most importantly, Set clock time was and is a annoying nuisance, especially finding out the circuitous route of op 4 to get outof power save mode to set clock time.If you have those items preset at least give customer option to cancel them .The product engineer should be fired for this. My adivce is to build one unit before assembly and give a couple of employee consumers or other consumers a couple of hours to work the microwave , and then report non-user friendly items for fix. It's like buying any car today and back taillights allow water to collect inside them. This should be problem free with today's technology and engineering specifications, and it is.Also, the instructions given muss the circuitous route to set clock time. Do not recommend this product at this time with these problems.

Great Value for the Price

When our over the counter unit went bust, we got this as a fill-in but it works so well we're just keeping the old one as a storage box and using the Frigidaire as our main unit. It works well, has good features, has plenty of space inside, and is a great deal for under $90 at the local Brandsmart.

My OLD Frigidaire Microwave died on Black Friday Convenient. I was able to get another from Lowe's in Saginaw & they held it until I arrived for a VA appointment so I didn't have to make a 300 mile trip twice. I got Model FFCE1439LW the one with the sensor feature. Should have stayed with what I had. The old one, when I warmed up a beverage, after beeping to let me know it was done, had the word DONE on the clock face. When I opened the door to remove the drink, the clock face returned. I LIKED that... Forgetful Olde Pharte that I am, I'm looking for my mug. I USED to be able to glance at the Microwave & SEE on the clock face... oops, the cup is in there. & it was. Then last month I began to notice my turntable was making NOISE when I would put my cup in to re-heat it. Sounds like having a glass bowl with water in it & a lid on it & the water is boiling & causing the lid to rattle. But it was the turntable! Now the open door button is sticking. So I called Frigidaire & they said Hey it's 2+ MONTHS old. We'll replace it! take it back with your sales receipt & exchange it.I LIKE that. Now I have to wait for Mother Nature to settle down so I can drive to their store & exchange it. Maybe if I am lucky, I can find one that tells me when my beverage is DONE!

Bought last night. For the life of me I cannot get it work properly. If I try 90 seconds and hit start, counts down to 87 and goes off; if I try quick sets same thing, what am I doing wrong. Do you need to press another button before you put in amount of time you need to cook? Ugh. Help
